New York, NY

Ben was really getting into the mood of New York by the 2nd day.

We went to the fountain in Central Park, right next to the boathouse and a little lake that you can boat around on. It was beautiful, and we were listing off all of the movies that had scenes that were filmed in Central park. There is a lot!

Central Park

Mom's friend that she went to school with in Geneva, Anjali Saigal, came and met up with us and showed us around to Ground Zero and Central Park.

The Brooklyn Bridge

We took a harbor cruise and saw the Statue of Liberty, the Brooklyn Bridge, the Manhattan Bridge, and Ellis Island.

We highly recommend the Carnegie Deli, though none of us can boast of having finished our meal. (and yes, that is a meal for one person in the picture above)

Taking the metro. We got our day passes! they were very helpful, though I have to say the metro is not my favorite.

Times Square at night

At the top of the Empire State building! Take time to admire this because it took 2 and a half hours waiting in line to get up there.

Ground Zero

We took a bus tour and saw the largest store in the world, among other things.

At the bus stop. (our van would have been a really bad idea in NYC)
